What a weekend! WOOH. A weekend of potty training, need I say more? The present that Cooper chose for doing a fantastic job! We are so proud of him!

Up Close and Personal
We visited the wonderful Columbus Zoo over the long weekend as Cooper said he really wanted to see his favorite animal, the tiger. The weather was beautiful outside so we took a road trip.

Cincinnati Trip
This weekend we went for a day trip to Cincinnati to see our friends Brian, Karen and Adam. Adam and Cooper are only a few months apart so it was nice for Cooper to be able to have a playdate. We visited the local park which has an indoor animal exploration area then we went to the local root beer stand to eat homemade chili dogs. Cooper was not too fond of the chili dogs but he loved all of the toys that they had there especially the outdoor play area. Brian and Jon spent some time together catching up on the patio while the boys played in the back yard, teaching each other bad tricks (see the video - turn music off at bottom) and the ladies went to IKEA to shop without spending too much money.

Bugs, Bunnies and Baseball
We spent our day outside today playing baseball and practicing with Cooper's new baseball mit, it was a great surprise to him, he takes it everywhere with him now. We also went on a little scavenger hunt through the neighborhood, we found a ton of bugs and as we returned from our adventure we found a little friend in our yard enjoying a treat (my hostas and flock in the back garden) Can anyone give some pointers on how to save our flower garden? We will see if the black pepper will help rid of him.

Friends
Today we had visitors from Cleveland, our dear friends Pete and Angie who are expecting their first baby. We thought that we would show them what having a 2 year old boy who loves baseball is like. We are so glad that we were able to spend time with them as Pete is an accountant too so they really understand what busy season is like.
