Bug Catching

Cooper is intrigued lately with bugs, so today we thought our new daily adventure would be to see what type of bugs we could find to keep in the new bug catcher container. We were successful in finding a fly.

Sweet Dreams Baby Boy

This weekend we spent time with a dear friend who has a farm along with an inground pool. Cooper's favorite part, of course, was feeding the animals, maybe he will be a vet one day. He keeps telling us that he would like three pets: A turtle, A kitten and A fish.....

Big Brother Love

Cooper loves to hold Adler and Adler follows Cooper's voice however, Adler is not always in the mood to be held if he is sleepy or wants to be fed.....see for yourself.

Due to the humidity, we have been spending a lot of time taking walks throughout the neighborhood in the evenings. We love to go on bug scavenger hunts with Cooper, as you can see ants are his favorite.

As for Adler, he enjoys being pushed in the stroller, soon enough he will be on bug scavenger hunts too.

The Beach

Cooper has been wanting to go to the beach and build sand castles, but with having a newborn we have not been able to travel for a mini vacation so Jon ventured to Alum Creek beach with Cooper. Needless to say it was an experience for both of them in many different ways.

One of the worries of being a second time parent is whether the first child will continue to feel loved and included despite the time that it takes to care for a newborn. We are so very proud of Cooper and how he really cares for his little brother and loves to help with everything that is included with the beautiful baby package, including the smelly diapers. We love Cooper dearly and are so very proud of him and know that Adler is going to have a smart and wonderful big brother to look up to.

Bath Time

Adler's cord finally fell off so he was able to take his first real bath, needless to say, he behaved perfectly, he did not cry and seemed to like the feeling of the water. While he was taking a bath his big brother was making splashes in the bathtub as well. Oh how fun what play is!
